“It is unwise to pay too much, but it is also unwise to pay too
little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money, that is all. When
you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything ... The common law of
business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot … It
can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder it is well to add something
for the risk you run. And if you do that you will have enough to pay for
something better.”
(John Ruskin, British author, art critic and social philosopher in the
19th century)

When dealing with interpreting services and translations, it is difficult
to state concrete and above all transparent prices.

Interpreting services are charged on the basis of the language combination
and the degree of difficulty. For instance, with standard languages, one
hour of meeting interpreting costs € 60 and one hour of conference
interpreting costs € 80. It is often more efficient to agree on daily
fees, especially for conferences.

Translations are charged per standard line (55 characters) or per hour
in certain projects. The prices for translations vary depending on the
degree of difficulty and scope of the text. For instance, our prices start
with € 1.10 for English.
